Partner: Leisure and Cultural Services Department
Status: Fall 2016
Creativity needs a space to thrive. In a crowded metropolis such as Hong Kong, there is always a shortage of space and land is a luxury. Commissioned by the government department of Leisure and Cultural Services Department, this public workshop is designed to inspire and challenge participants to rethink their relationship with the land in their daily lives. How can we reframe, rethink and redesign our relationship with the land around us. Even in a city like Hong Kong, there are actually so many opportunities for innovation and creativity – if we change the way we change the way we traditionally view the spaces around us.
Designed to inspire participants, the workshop will also invite you to take a crack at how to view our current cityscape from a new lense and find that the opportunity for innovation is all around us, waiting for it’s true potential to be unleashed.
