Cody graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in Data Science and Policy Studies with a minor in Urban Studies. During his studies, inspired by the Yau Ma Tei and Mong Kok redevelopment, he engaged in advocacy for Hong Kong’s urban issues, focusing on areas such as urban redevelopment, community planning, and public market management. He recognized that Hong Kong’s land issues are often dominated by entrenched narratives, prompting him to actively explore ways to promote knowledge dissemination and foster community connections through guided tours, talks, and media production. Cody firmly believes that driving change requires harnessing collective wisdom and innovative thinking to reimagine the city’s future.

Outside of work, Cody enjoys bouldering, cooking, and reading, cherishing moments of connection with his body, food, and words.
