As Jane Jacobs argues, “Cities have the capability of providing something for everybody, only because, and only when, they are created by everybody.” Pun firmly believes that every individual in a city has the capacity to envision and realize a better urban and public life.

Pun graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a major in Urban Studies and a minor in Sociology, later obtaining a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Hong Kong. Before joining Good Lab, Pun was involved in advocacy work related to primary healthcare and participated in planning work in the public sector, focusing on urban sustainability. This experience fueled Pun’s commitment to exploring new avenues and possibilities for urban and spatial development, promoting more inclusive and sustainable urban development and planning approaches in Hong Kong. Pun believes that true resilience against emerging urban challenges arises only when every citizen has the opportunity to participate with respect.

Pun enjoys photography, taking walks, and writing poetry, using images and words to experience and process thoughts on space and community.
